The Book of the Great life

Macro Bios, The Book of the Great life
, 2010

Macro bios or great life is related with the great world. As usual, we wonder about the stars: are they a tiny spot of light above in the sky or are they so far away from us?

The Book of the Small Life

The Book of the Small life 2010

Micro Bios
is the ancient Greek name for Small life. In some languages means germ, mold or anything microscopic and tiny. In this book we wonder about how big or how tiny we are. The germs are bigger than the constellations we see above in the sky we wonder. Whether stars are smaller than germs in the microscope, whether humans are bigger than stars or maybe they are a tiny spot in the universe, or we are the universe.

The Book of the Home Land

The Book of the Home Land 2010

Homeland can be many places: the place where we were born, the place where we come from, the place where we have decided to create our ties.
In this book, there is a compilation of all our familiar surroundings: we always remember a special plant that grew up in a certain garden, stones, pebbles, sand, rocks we have at our feet, the stars and the constellations we have observed.

The Book of the Creatures

"I learned that there are three kingdoms in Nature: Mineralia, Vegetalia and Animalia. Those kingdoms were studied as separate and it was hard to understand the meaning of a forest, where the three kingdoms get together". As well, we are a part of another kingdom or a kingdom of a kingdom above in the sky.
When the author saw the Milky Way for the first time, she was told that the galaxy was made of a goddess milk. We do not know exactly their size but we feel like a little life, micro bios, the ancient Greek word for germ. So depending on the scale, we are galaxies or little lives in kingdoms of animalia, vegetalia and mineralia.

The Book of Blood and Slime

The Book of Blood and Slime 2010

"I had a bunch of a beautiful paper given to me by one of my professors at grad school. I just read Sandor Marai's book "Embers" and I was caught by the story. I had some new born images", said the author.
There is a story about newborn creatures and its protection. Blood and slime that accompany the mankind into the world, but also as a protective layer in our arrival into the world.
There is a fascination towards those body fluids, mainly rejected but absolutely ours.
